The bottom line... We provide our own table and table cloths, all the music, yes, your guests can make requests, dance floor lighting, two wireless hand held microphones, we're there an one to two hours before your events starts and we stay until your event is finished or 12am. We will play background music through the meal time (yes, please feed the DJ), we do the announcements and introductions( Which includes special dances). We help coordinate the event, unless you've hired a event planner. We provide sound equipment for the dance floor by how many people will be attending your event (Up To 300). A larger event over 300 people would require another set of speakers and an amp or another set of powered speakers. Possibly a sub or two as well. Large dance floors mean more people on the dance floor and bodies absorb sound. Thus the need for more watts and speakers. We do have 18" subs available, but most venues are discouraging and some are banning subs because bass can carry a good distance and bother neighbors or upstairs customers at hotels. Our speakers will provide thumping bass you can feel in your chest while on the dance floor, but not so much bass that we get complaints. This is where our 31+ years of experience kicks in.
Our DJ Services price is $1200 for a Tri-Cities event
This price will increase with events larger than 300 people, because of the extra equipment
There will be a charge for events that exceed the 12am shut down time
We can travel for events. Price depends on distance
A deposit is required to hold your event date
We can provide up lighting for an additional charge
Up lighting is decorative color wash lighting placed at the base of a wall facing up towards the ceiling. It can be any color and also can be color changing, flashing color or colors fading in and out. Then there is accent lighting. Just a little touch of color wash light on a particular area or areas. The last effect is under table lighting, lights under a table giving it a "Table Glow Effect". All three use the same type of battery powered wireless color wash lights. The amount of lights depends on the size of the room and how you want it lighted. Most events are a static color until it's dancing time. Then it's anything you want. The general rule of thumb is 10 feet apart for a standard wash look and 5 feet apart for a dramatic look giving the whole room a glow, but you can have them placed according to your budget too. The choice is yours.
